Shatranj Live is a free, real-time chess tournament tracker and editorial blog. The tracker displays live standings, round results, and game replays for FIDE-rated classical tournaments. The blog publishes player profiles, tournament coverage, and chess analysis.

Images: Images used on this site are sourced from Wikimedia Commons under their respective licences (typically CC BY-SA). Attribution is provided on each image. These images are not owned by Shatranj Live.
Chess data: Tournament results, player ratings, and FIDE data are factual information sourced from public FIDE databases and Lichess Broadcasts. Factual data is not subject to copyright.

4. Permitted Use

You may use Shatranj Live for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

Scrape, crawl, or systematically download content from the site at scale without permission.
Use the site's content to train machine learning models without prior written consent.
Republish, sell, or sublicence any original editorial content from this site.

Shatranj Live makes reasonable efforts to ensure that tournament results, player ratings, and editorial content are accurate. However:

Live standings may lag behind official results by a short period during active rounds.
Player ratings displayed are based on official FIDE rating lists and may not reflect mid-month live performance changes.
Editorial content (player profiles, analysis) reflects the best available information at time of publication. Corrections are made promptly when errors are identified — email hello@shatranj.live to report an error.

The service is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

6. Limitation of Liability
