This Privacy Policy applies to Shatranj Live, operated at www.shatranj.live and the blog at www.shatranj.live/blogs. Shatranj Live is a free, real-time chess tournament tracker and editorial blog covering FIDE super-tournaments and player profiles.

Shatranj Live does not require registration or login. We collect the following data:

  • Analytics data — page views, session duration, referrer, and general device/browser type via Google Analytics 4. This data is anonymised and aggregated. No personally identifiable information is stored.
  • Server logs — standard web server logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) retained by our hosting provider (Vercel) for up to 30 days for security and performance monitoring.
  • Contact emails — if you email us at hello@shatranj.live, we retain that correspondence to respond to your query.
